A few days after Lloyd was left in Dirk's care, a blue-haired stranger came knocking and convinced Dirk to let him take care of Lloyd, seeing as he knew his parents and everything. Therefore, Lloyd grew up in the Renegades, under Yuan's watchful eye.
Of course, this means that he knows all about Cruxis and the Desians. Well, the parts that were well-suited to Yuan of course. So all he knows of Kratos is that he's a Seraph, with Yuan carefully concealing the father-son relationship.
He hangs out in Tethe'alla most of the time, so he's pretty familiar with that world. He's pretty good buds with Zelos, since Lloyd's always the one relaying Yuan's messages to him. And since Sheena was somewhat friends before he got all gigolo and worked for the Renegades in Sylvarant, Lloyd is pretty good friends with her too.
